Metfone Cambodian League – Week-18 Fixtures

18th August

Nagaworld face Boeung Ket at the Army Stadium, and it could be the league clash of the week between two Cambodia’s powerhouse clubs in the race for the league title. Defending champions Boeung Ket top the league table with one point ahead of second-placed Nagaworld.

Phnom Penh Crown look to secure their third successive league victory in a row this weekend, when they welcome Angkor Tiger at their RSN Stadium. The six-time champions could be desperate to secure three points from the Siem Reap-based club, who knocked them out of the Hun Sen Cup quarter finals last Wednesday.

Visakha take on Soltilo Angkor, and they need nothing but three points from this weekend’s league clash to keep their title hope alive as they are now four points behind Boeung Ket.

The clash between Asia Euro United and Electricite Du Cambodge has been rescheduled to be held at the National Olympic Stadium due to the fact that the AEU Sport Park has been flooded.

Western Phnom Penh entertain Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng as they are hopeful to secure some points to survive in the Metfone Cambodian League, while the Svay Rieng-based side are hungry for a victory to save their face from last weekend’s embarrassing 6-1 defeat at home to Asia Euro United.

Ministry of National Defense will need only three points from their home clash with G.C National Defense as their title hope has become slight after a frustrating 2-2 draw with Soltilo Angkor last weekend.
