Metfone Cambodian League: Week 16 Fixtures

G.C National Police welcome Soltilo Angkor at the National Olympic Stadium, with Coach Sareth Sidon’s side looking to secure another three vital points from the clash with the Siem Reap-based club, whom they narrowly defeated 2-1 in their first league meeting.

Visakha take on Western Phnom Penh at the Army Stadium as they are desperate to secure their sixth successive league victory after collecting fifteen points from their last five league matches. However, Coach Hok Sochivorn’s side cannot write of Western Phnom Penh, who have just bagged their first league point following an incredible 3-3 draw with Ministry of National Defense.

Phnom Penh Crown entertain in-form team, Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng, who thrashed them 6-3 in the first leg. The six-time champions may need three points from the Svay Rieng-based club to save their face from three straight defeats in a row and get back to their winning ways.

Electricite Du Cambodge host Angkor Tiger as they also need points from the home clash to avoid relegation this season. Coach Prak Vuthy’s side are now four points ahead of the relegation zone, so one or three points from Angkor Tiger will please them enough.

The last league clash for Week 16 is an encounter between Asia Euro United and Nagaworld at the AEU Sport Park. The university-based club has yet to secure any point in the second half of the season with four defeats in a row, while the visitors need nothing but three points to boost their league title race.
