Dzarma Bata has set his expectation from a big league clash with Phnom Penh Crown this Saturday as he claims that Ministry of National Defense will leave the Smart RSN Stadium with three points.
The Nigerian forward, who has scored twelve league goals for Ministry of National Defense this season, is confident that his side have everything it takes to beat Phnom Penh Crown that have poor record against Cambodia’s powerhouse clubs.
Eighth-placed Phnom Penh Crown are struggling this season as they were beaten by Boeung Ket, Visakha, Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng, and Nagaworld, so it’s not weird that the former Boeung Ket forward targets nothing less than three points against the six-time champions.
Ministry of National Defense pulled off a fantastic performance at the Army Stadium last week to secure three points from a crucial 1-0 win over big-spending Visakha, so the No. 11 urges his side to keep the winning spirit that he thinks is the key for this Saturday’s encounter with Sum Vanna’s side.
Dzarma Bata told TheMorning: “I think it is going to be a hard game against Phnom Penh Crown, but we are looking forward to getting the 3 points which is very important for us.
“We are really working as hard as we can to win our away game against them and to meet up the point ahead of us. What we expect on the next game is winning, so we are going with all hope of winning. We are ready to work hard for the 3 points.
“After winning Visakha, we still keep the winning sprit strong and focusing on the next game with our winning sprit. What I am expecting is nothing less than 3 points, so my expectation is that we will win the game.”
Ministry of National Defense sit in the fifth place in the Metfone Cambodian League table, and they will climb up the league table to third place should they beat Phnom Penh Crown, and Visakha and Angkor Tiger lose to Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng and Soltilo Angkor respectively.
